BIO-WHEEL for MBBR - basic parametrs
The moving bed media BIO-WHEEL is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) that has a density close to the density of water (0,94-0,96 g/cm3). This moving bed media is floating. For manufacturing of the sinking moving bed media (with a gravity of 1.05-1.1 g / cm3), the special additives are added into the raw materials, which are environmentally friendly chemicals.
The geometric and mechanical properties of the moving bed media BIO-WHEEL contribute its self-cleaning during the bubbling process.
